Emily Basham

Associate Director, Financing Programs

Emily Basham is an Associate Director on the Financing Programs team. She works across sectors in the organization to develop new outreach and partnership opportunities to grow clean energy deployment. She primarily manages the community campaigns for the Solar for All program to increase LMI solar and energy efficiency adoption, as well as the Solar Municipal Assistance Program supporting Connecticut’s towns and cities. Emily led the organization’s participation in the SolSmart program, offering technical assistance to streamline local solar permitting processes in the state. Emily has extensive experience with stakeholder engagement around soft cost issues through her work under Rooftop Solar Challenge II and the SunShot Prize competition.

Prior to joining the Green Bank, Emily’s work focused on member and voter engagement through non-profits such as the League of Conservation Voters as well as various political campaigns.

Emily is NABCEP Associate certified and completed Yale‘s Clean Energy Finance and Deployment Certificate program. Emily holds a B.A. in Environmental Science and Political Science from the University of Michigan (Go Blue!).
