With the rapidly changing climate, the time is now to implement innovations and nature-based solutions that help protect our planet. By making timely improvements, you are investing in our future quality-of-life and creating more resilient communities. The Connecticut Green Bank offers financing and incentives for resiliency measures to help you and your loved ones accelerate these methods in your homes, buildings, and communities to make a difference.
In 2021, the Green Bank’s model was expanded to include new areas of environmental infrastructure, related to climate adaptation and resiliency, land conservation, parks and recreation, agriculture, water, waste and recycling, and environmental markets, including carbon offsets and ecosystem services. Our approach to environmental infrastructure includes hard infrastructure improvements which increase social and ecological resilience as well as nature-based solutions — which encompass a wide range of actions to protect, manage, or restore natural or modified ecosystems to address challenges, including climate change.
Keep your home safe from the impacts of climate change and extreme weather like heavy rains, high winds, tree damage, flooding, power outages, and more with the Smart-E loan. There are many improvements that can be financed with this low interest, flexible term loan to mitigate risk and become more resilient.
