Clean Energy With a Great Mission
Easterseals Capital Region & Eastern Connecticut is a well known local and regional organization that provides important resources for individuals with disabilities, veterans, seniors, and their families. Along with their meaningful mission, they have kept sustainability in mind throughout their work. Easterseals has worked with the Connecticut Green Bank to finance a 218-kilowatt rooftop solar system and advanced lighting controls through our Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) program. With their new upgrades, Easterseals is projected to save approximately $1.3 million in energy costs over the lifetime of the equipment, allowing them to invest more into their invaluable resources.
