Summer Associate LEGAL INTERNSHIP
The Connecticut Green Bank, a quasi-public authority, is the nation's first state-level "Green Bank," leveraging public funds to increase and accelerate private investment in the green economy of Connecticut. A legal summer associate paid internship with the Green Bank is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable professional legal experience in a unique, innovative work environment in the rapidly growing clean energy and environmental infrastructure sectors.
This position will work in a collaborative setting on projects related to renewable energy and in the furtherance of the Green Bank's programs and operations. We look for law students seeking to match their academic work with professional work experience, and have a strong interest in finance, banking law, and renewable energy. This position will work with the Green Bank's legal team on a variety of transactional and regulatory related work projects.
EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:
Current matriculation in a law degree program that is determined to be appropriate preparation for employment in the designated functional area. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, interpersonal, and administrative skills. We are seeking students in the top 50% of their class and are not seeking current first year law students.
We are offering a paid, full-time 40 hour per week internship for 10 to 12 weeks during the summer of 2023. This internship can be located at either the Green Bank's Hartford, CT headquarters or the Stamford, CT satellite office. The summer associate can choose their primary location.
