Shankar Patil

Smart-E Program

Shankar Patil is an Energy Engineer with over three years of experience in industrial manufacturing, and energy efficiency. He earned his master’s degree in chemical engineering from Rowan University and has completed ASHRAE HVAC training courses and a 40-hour OSHA safety program.

At Green Banyan Consulting, Shankar conducts pre- and post-installation inspections and engineering reviews for small business energy efficiency projects across Connecticut. He also supports energy audits and efficiency initiatives with expertise in HVAC systems, building envelope improvements, lighting technologies, and energy-saving measures. He is currently pursuing his EIT certification in Connecticut.
