Sergio Carrillo

Managing Director, Incentive Programs

Sergio joined the Connecticut Green Bank in 2020, where he manages the organization’s incentive programs, including the Residential Solar Investment Program (RSIP) and Energy Storage Solutions Program.

Prior to the Green Bank, Sergio was the Director of Corporate Development for Chesapeake Utilities Corporation where he led the development and implementation of renewable and sustainability strategies. His previous responsibilities included geographic market expansion, developing new business lines, services, and products, and coordinating and facilitating cross-functional teams. Prior to Chesapeake, he worked at Hess Corporation and Exelon Energy where he led retail and wholesale electricity pricing efforts. Before that he was at Chesapeake as their Manager of Rates, Contracts, and Regulatory Affairs.

Sergio holds a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, Masters in Engineering Management, M.Sc. in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering from Penn State University, and an MBA from Duke University – The Fuqua School of Business. He is also a Six Sigma Lean Black-Belt Professional
