Caleb Smith

Manager of Data & Impact

Caleb Smith serves as the Manager of Data & Impact at the Connecticut Green Bank. In this role, Caleb is responsible for providing data-driven analysis and insights that contribute to the success of the organization. He specializes in geospatial analysis and manages both internal and external reporting platforms, assisting other departments with their data needs.

Caleb joined the Connecticut Green Bank in the summer of 2022 as an Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) Climate Corps Fellow. He continued to work on contract throughout the 2022-2023 school year and then joined full time in June 2023.

Prior to joining the Green Bank, Caleb held the position of Technical & Systems Fellow for the National Zoning Atlas, where he focused on grant applications and management, as well as technical systems design. Caleb also served as the Farmers Market & Community Engagement Coordinator for the City of Richmond, Indiana. In this role, Caleb spearheaded the creation and growth of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Double Dollars program.

Caleb holds a Masters in Regional Planning (MRP) and an Infrastructure Policy Management and Finance (IPMF) Certificate from Cornell University. He also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from Earlham College.
